- Washing Instructions Down pillows and comforters can be washed as long as they are dried very thoroughly! It is the drying that is the most important part. Dry completely until there are no clumps and then dry some more!! The down product should be as puffy as the day you bought it.
Washing Instructions
Down products can be washed as long as they are thoroughly dried! This is best done in a large commercial dryer for queen or king comforters so there is lots of room for fluffing! The product has to be dried for at least a hour or more preferably with something hard like a rubber ring "fluffer". This will help break up the clumps of down and the poduct will be as puffy as the day you bought it. If it is not dried thorughly, the little filaments of down will intertwine and dry as clumps. Be sure there are no tears or holes in your product before you wash it!
